The University of Warwick, in Coventry UK, formed in 1965 is one of the top 3 “young Universities” in the world and is consistently ranked among the top research Universities in the UK, ranked 48th overall in the 2015/2016 QS world rankings, with research funding of over €90 million and 40 research institutes and centres. The University has strong research institutes, in particular in life-sciences, chemistry, statistics and decision science. With over 18,000 undergraduate, 4,000 postgraduate students and 1,300 research and academic staff, the university has an active student and academic research environment. In alignment with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment the University was awarded the HR Excellence in Research Award in 2012 from the EC.
